Yesterday’s sweetest moments!
This morning around 8 am, we got into the cab of Miros Concorde and started today’s stage, the second and last up to Piteå. Last night we drove along the E4 highway with sunset and very nice views to see, including a few caravans. We glided forward with the sun lightning up the trees and the song ”Local Hero” by Mark Knopfler playing on the stereo. We also heard ”Walk of Life” by Dire Straits, which lifted up the mood even more. We also had a fuel stop outside the town of Hudviksvall!
We were behind a Homecar Racer 48 KMU 2002 for quite some time.
We then found a resting place on the waterfront in Svartvik outside Sundsvall.
Here there were a few caravans and motorhomes. It was very pieceful.
We ended the evening with a glass of wine and a shower. I’ve never even taken a shower in a caravan so it was a new experience. It was like in a home but a bit more compact.
The bed above the cab is about 2×2 meters wide and was really comfortable. I fell asleep at once.
